Today is the Day of Salvation. Sit and watch what God will do. 2 Corinthians 4:8  “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. You were not born just because our parents came together.  You were not born because it was a mistake. Most times, families plan to have children. Parents believe that they are ready for the next step after marriage.  They will begin to reason and plan for this major journey called “family.” They have a plan and a purpose for their child. They will begin to train up this child to become a better version of themselves. They have hope for the future of that child and will do what they can to prepare the child for their future. That is exactly how our God sees you! You are His … God will make sure to always prepare you for His plan and a good future! Walking Through Trials Let's start by debunking a myth: nowhere in Scripture does God promise us a perfect life, free from troubles. In fact, many, many times in the Bible, Christ-followers find themselves persecuted, under attack, or facing trouble of all kinds. In a letter from James to first-century believers, James informs them about the various trials that they will experience in life:  "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12 NIV When we see trials as a means of becoming more like Jesus, then we’ll be blessed by them. Maybe you can think back to a difficult season of life.
