A wealthy woman lived there, and she urged him to come to her home for a meal. After that, whenever he passed that way, he would stop there for something to eat. Let’s take a closer look at this verse This passage in scripture is all about the Shunmmite woman. We can note that she was: ·         Not Jewish ·         Very wealthy ·         Hospitable ·         Generous ·         Compassionate ·         Faithful ·         Has a heart for God This woman was known in her village and we see that she crossed paths with Elisha at some point and extended an invitation for him to come to her home. Listen to this song and cast all fears on the One who knows you by name. Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NHQJWdXfFE At the end of Part 1 of this biography, Archbishop Cranmer was imprisoned because of his stand and belief in the Reformation. Tides were turning against him now and he is being asked to renounce his stand and he will live. Unknowingly, Archbishop Cranmer is being lied about his freedom if he renounces his faith and teachings.  As we finish up the story of Thomas Cranmer, let us remember that we are mere humans, falling short at every turn. We too, will someday have to make a confession of our faith. What will you do when asked to renounce your faith or die?  I honestly don't know if I have the courage to stand. My prayer this year will be that God strengthen me in my spirit and confirm His Word in my heart, so that when I am asked to stand or die, that I can boldly say, let me die for Jesus Christ. Your Spirit O Lord

Thank you Lord for your Spirit for it draws my heart closer to you and puts a fire within my soul. Thank you Lord for your Spirit that fills me with your Love & your Grace when I fall short, and prompts my heart to desire to be more like You! Thank you Lord for your Spirit that becomes Hope to my weary heart  in times of chaos and violence in our world. Thank you Lord for your Spirit that teaches me those things that are good, true, simple and pure which have become the  foundation  that changed my life. Thank you Lord for your Spirit in these times when everyone has an opinion and the lies and deceit of many are strong. It is Your Spirit that surrounds my heart and  my mind.  It is Your Spirit that keeps my Faith from faltering. Thank you Lord for your Spirit   which has become my Truth, for I now know what is evil, although  everyone around me is teaching that the evil they do, they now call good.  How contrary and confusing all their fool
