“For if we live, we live to the Lord, And if we die, we die to the Lord.  Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s” Well said indeed! To live for Christ is to belong  to Him.  Wonderful words to hear in any situation you may be in. If you are in a storm,  “thank you LORD”, that  I feel Your Presence and  I know I am not alone. If I am ill, let me rest in the assurance that You see me and I know that all is in well with my soul. If I am alone, I surely  know that Your Spirit  lives in me.  You are my reason to live, for Your joy is like living waters, that strengthens me! Thank you LORD 🤲

Did you know that you  are special.  Not in the sense as the world says it:  special needs … or someone highly esteemed/ established But rather because God knew you long before you were born. Think about that for a moment … 1. God knew me before and still called and loved me? Wow .. that’s grace! 2. God desired to have a relationship with me? Why me? I’m not worthy. 3. God gave to us His love through His son, Jesus Christ.   Who God chose to be  our sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins … 4. The faithful obedience of God’s son, Jesus Christ, has given me a chance to be a new creation and a  second chance to make things right! 5. I am washed and clean from all shame, guilt and sin, when I surrender my heart and my life to Jesus, and ask Him to be My savior and friend. Come Jesus into my life, that I will gain freedom  the bondage of my former sins (which were many). 6. I now have a great gift from God;  Salvation from my sins And the peace of G...

“I used to wander off until you disciplined me; But now I closely follow your word” We all have strayed, drifted or walked away in some form or another. The LORD is close to the broken, the lost and those who run away. He is not a man, that we should fear Him, nor is He one to judge. Jesus came to set the captives free, to heal the brokenhearted and to make the blind to see. This is “good news”.   “Your words are true from the start,   And all your laws will be fair forever”     We people believe that we know what is best for us.  In decision making try to choose right, but let’s remember that we can not see or understand “the bigger” picture.     I am finally learning that it is good to trust God. Especially, in times of decision making! I am understanding that “God’s ways are higher” than what I am able to understand.” I also am learning that it is okay and especially “best 4 me” when I trust God’s ways.  I no longer need to SEE the outcome or understand WHY God is directing me in another direction. Or to do something out of my realm of comfort…..     I only need to trust God’s ways and follow …    How much easier can it be?    Ask me this question, the next time that I miss the mark …..    job leon
