As you read Chapter 2
and the love story between you and the Lord, open your heart and allow these
words of love to minister to you.
Young Woman (you)
I am the spring crocus blooming on the Sharon
Plain, the lily of the valley.
Young Man (the Lord)
Like a lily among thistles is my darling
among young women.
By His love you are
strengthen and tended to with Mercy, cared for with every need provided and
growing in Grace by His Word.
Do you see yourself as
His Beloved? Hosea 14:15 and Matthew 6:28-29.
How did these verses speak to you?
How did these verses speak to you?
Young Woman (you)
Like the finest apple
tree in the orchard is my lover among other young men.
I sit in his delightful shade and taste his
delicious fruit.
He escorts me to the banquet hall; it’s obvious how much he loves me.
Strengthen me with raisin cakes and refresh me with apples, for I am weak with love. His left arm is under my head and his right arm embraces me.

Let us learn how we
can be in love with Our Lord. Notice the words used to describe The Beloved as the
finest of the finest. Check out how "He" is the delight of her heart and how He
refreshes her and is her strength and the lifter of her head. He showers
her with so much Love that everyone can now see that She belongs to Him.
Would this be how you
would describe your relationship with the Lord?
Why not? What can you change? Are you willing to commit to change? If so, make yourself accountable to someone that can help you strive for discipline in your life.
Let us learn to fall
in love with Him so much that we can say of Our Lord, that I delight in Him.
Make time to allow Him to minister to your heart with such love and tenderness.
In turn, you will learn to love in this same manner. How blessed our homes
and families will be.
Promise me, O women of Jerusalem by the
gazelles and wild deer, not to awaken love until the time is right.
Too many times we are
in hurry to move from the spiritual realm of Love to the unrealistic reality of
Love. Do you find yourself here at times? Train yourself to daily seek this Love rather than the lie.
Here she reminds us
that True Love is not to be awaken before its time.
Ah, I hear my lover coming! He is leaping
over the mountains bounding over the hills. My lover is like a swift
gazelle or a young stag. Look, there he is behind the
wall, looking through the window, peering into the room.
She knows His voice,
John 10:27.
My lover said to me, “Rise up, my darling! Come away with me, my
fair one!
Look, the winter is past and the rains are
over and gone. The flowers are springing up, the season of singing
birds has come and the cooing of turtledoves
fills the air.
The fig trees are forming young fruit and the fragrant grapevines are blossoming. Rise up, my darling! Come away with me, my fair one!”

Young Man (the Lord)
My dove is hiding behind the rocks behind
an outcrop on the cliff.
Let me see your face; let me hear your voice.
For your voice is pleasant and your face is lovely.
Let me see your face; let me hear your voice.
For your voice is pleasant and your face is lovely.
Have you experienced
such a "wooing by the Spirit"? Oh, may we pray for a deeper walk with
our Beloved.
See how The Beloved
calls out to rise up and come away with Him for it’s a start of a new season saying,
“Come away with Me, for I have something that I desire to share with you”.
Young Women of Jerusalem
Catch all the foxes, those little foxes before they ruin the
vineyard of love, for the grapevines are blossoming!
An excellent reminder
for us, do not let the foxes distract you from Your beloved, for it is those
little foxes that spoil the vines!
Ask yourself, what
foxes must I be aware of that keeps me from such a relationship with My Lord?
Young Woman (you)
My lover is mine, and I am his. He browses
among the lilies.
Before the dawn breezes blow and the night shadows flee,
return to me, my love, like a gazelle or a young stag on the rugged mountains.

return to me, my love, like a gazelle or a young stag on the rugged mountains.
The heart of a
worshipper!
Amen.
Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth,
unite my heart to fear Your name.
I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
and I will glorify Your name forevermore. Psalm 86:11-12

1) Do I have a faithful time of study with the Lord,
(aside from a group bible study)?
2) Do I make time for my quiet time with the Lord, (aside
from reading the Word)?
3) Do I lift up my family daily to the Lord in
prayer?
*In the wilderness, the children of
Israel had to daily seek God for their provision of the manna. How much more,
in these times of such chaos, world economy, presidential election, confusion,
violence, terrorist, ISIS, Cartel and corruption.
Our children who are being taught lies that good is evil and evil is good, more than ever need our prayers!
