In this chapter the King of kings is speaking of His pure love. The kind of love which God intended for His children to live in.
Men, I pray that you can relate to this love story and that you will see God’s love.
Listen carefully to His words of passion as He describes His Love for you.

Young Man  (The Lord)
You are beautiful, my darling, beautiful beyond words.
Your eyes are like doves behind your veil.
Your hair falls in waves, like a flock of goats winding down the slopes of Gilead.
Your teeth are as white as sheep, recently shorn and freshly washed. Your smile is flawless, each tooth matched with its twin.
Your lips are like scarlet ribbon; your mouth is inviting.
Your cheeks are like rosy pomegranates behind your veil.
Your neck is as beautiful as the tower of David, jeweled with the shields of a thousand heroes.
Your breasts are like two fawns, twin fawns of a gazelle grazing among the lilies.
Before the dawn breezes blow and the night shadows flee, I will hurry to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of frankincense.
Your Beloved is captured by the beauty that you present. It is the inner beauty which pleases the Lord. 1 Peter 3:4
You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way.
Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, come with me from Lebanon. Come down from Mount Amana, from the peaks of Senir and Hermon, where the lions have their dens and leopards live among the hills.
This word description compares You to all the wonderful things that He is familiar with … pormegranates, tower of David, scarlet ribbon, lilies and expensive perfumes of the times.
Do you understand how much He loves you?
Do you believe it?
Will you walk in that truth?
You have captured my heart, my treasure, my bride. You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes, with a single jewel of your necklace. Your love delights me, My treasure, My bride. Your love is better than wine, your perfume more fragrant than spices. Your lips are as sweet as nectar, my bride. Honey and milk are under your tongue. Your clothes are scented like the cedars of Lebanon.
You have captured His heart and you are called His Treasure, His Bride. He is delighted with Your love.
Yes, as women we long to be loved like this, therefore, we feel His words of love and adoration and understand this kind of writing.
As men, I believe that you too desire such amazing love. These words of love convey God’s strong emotion of affection, admiration and tender love towards You.
As His children, we have grown up to become His Bride and His Beloved. So let us take in this beautiful love letter and rest in His wonderful and amazing love.
You are my private garden, my treasure, my bride, a secluded spring, a hidden fountain. Your thighs shelter a paradise of pomegranates with rare spices - henna with nard and nard and saffron, fragrant calamus and cinnamon, with all the trees of frankincense, myrrh, and aloes, and every other lovely spice.
You are a garden fountain, a well of living water streaming down from Lebanon’s mountains.

With a faithful prayer life, The Beloved is well pleased. He calls prayer, His private garden and His description is beautifully written:
A secluded spring, a hidden fountain. He describes the strength in prayer (thighs) as sweet fragrance of expensive oils.       Genesis 32:25
Prayer is like a planted garden fountain, a well of living water.
Let us cry out and desire a deeper prayer life and begin to plant our prayer garden and thirst after His well of living water!
Let us seek to be a secluded spring and hidden fountain for the Lover of your soul

Young Woman  (you)

Awake, north wind! Rise up, south wind! Blow on my garden and spread its fragrance all around.
Come into your garden, my love; taste its finest fruits.
Their relationship has matured and they are in love with one another!
TRUE LOVE
Who redeems your life from destruction, and who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies.    Psalm 103:4

We must pray for discipline so that our prayer life may increase.

How beautiful Song of Solomon readings are. (They are deep) deep to the soul and spirit and the heart of Christ reflecting His love for us.
