Lost Again

 How did I get so far off the path?
How quickly I have lost my way.
I am consumed by busyness.
I have no peace and my mind does not stop.

These thoughts have consumed my time and my peace. I can not stop and be still.
I am like a madman searching but not finding, and not sure what to do.

Where are my quiet times?
Where is my God?
I run to church and there I sit
Wondering what went wrong?

At last, I found what I have been looking for.
The quietness of soul as I sit in His Presence.
Oh, to be renewed by His Word. and 
Refreshed by His Love.

What has your attention?
What distracts you from being free?
What holds your heart captive?
Search me O Lord and reveal that which causes me to stray.

For there is nothing that can separate me from Your love,
But there are many distractions that causes me to fall away.
May I remain simple and true 
To the One who has been Faithful and True.

This is where my heaven is,
In His loving arms.
In His Perfect Peace.
In His Presence.

     Proverbs 21:22 “Whoever pursues righteous and unfailing love will find life, righteousness and honor” Father, Elohim,  “Thank you” 4 putting your wonderful creation together for all to enjoy and be rich by it all. Today in LA it has been raining, which is one thing we do not get much of .. but I “thank you” for it. It’s a time of slowing down.  It’s a time to sit and be still in the comfort of a warm home with family. I “thank you” Lord for the newness that comes with rain. It washes our soul and our mind.  We can take time to be still and reflect on where I AM .. where am I going .. and how to get there. The rain brings us to a stop and a moment to care about family, to look at ourselves and a chance for change, if needed. The rain heals the soul and lights it up with hope and freshness.  It’s a bath from head to toe that relaxes my spirit with the feeling of cleansing within me. My dear best friend went home yesterday. And today he is running about with his brothers; Lil Man, Rufus and his sister Peggy Sue. Such sweet sorrow & comfort knowing that he’s himself again, feeling healthy and free.  He is 13 doggie years on earth but Heaven does not have days or years. There is only eternity!     One can sense when there is something wrong with our best friend .. they are happy to see you and being around the family, but there is something about their eyes, that reflects what they are feeling  .                             Is sickness and death for all of creation? Let’s review all that God created for us.  Plants and trees can wither and die.  Animals, birds, fishes and all creeping things also live to die.  The stars, the waters and the land, the heavens, the seasons, the day & the night, the moon and the sun they are still in place, right?  And these too will pass.                                                                               Scripture tel
