God in A Box

Too many times, we leave God in a box, only to look for that box when we are in difficult times.
We’re too busy with the cares of this world, like work, children, self and of course everything else within our own borders.
At times like this, when I easily get caught up in the fast pace of my life and tend to put God aside, I wonder about if He would do the same for me?
But, praise be to God, that He isn’t like you or me. Yes, we know that He has eyes, hands, ears and a voice, but His heart and His ways are not like us!
Your God
God has eyes, that sees you at all times
And He knows exactly where you are and what you need.
His eye is always on us.
“He never takes his eyes off the innocent, but he sets them on thrones with kings and exalts them forever.” Job 36:7
God has ears, He hears your prayers and your tears.
God also hears your silent cry in the dark of night.
Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the Lord hears my voice.“  Psalm 55:17
God has hands, for He created you, the clay for His use,
And God lifts you when You fall and holds you in the palm of His hand.
“All your people will be righteous. They will possess their land forever, for I will plant them there with my own hands in order to bring myself glory.”     Isaiah 60:21
God has a voice, that spoke creation into existence.
God has a small still voice that comforts you,
A voice that heals your broken heart and
A voice that continually speaks words of wonder and love.
“He escorts me to the banquet hall; it’s obvious how much he loves me.” Song of Solomon 2:4
God has a heart for all that He created.
God knows you and He still loves you.
God’s heart understands, that though you may lose your way,
His Love towards you, will always find you.
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”   Romans 8:38
Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him.
For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.
He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains.
The sea belongs to him, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land, too.
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God.
We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care.
                   Psalm 95

Let’s Pray
Father, forgive me for the many times that I allow many distractions to separate me from You. I don’t want to leave you in a box. I long to speak to you early in the morning and throughout the day as we walk together. May I draw closer to you and may I have a song of praise in my heart about all the wonderful things that you have done.
