The Cross and The Crucified One

Colossians 3:2-3   “ Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” In this chapter I pray that the Holy Spirit will be with us as He reveals the mystery of Christ hidden in God. May our hearts be opened to the Spirit. This is a letter written by a seminary graduate taken from Born Crucified. “ I praise God for making known onto me that the riches of Christ are mine by grace, which were accomplished through the death and resurrection of Christ. What is consecration? Consecration   -  King James Dictionary Consecration  does not make a person or thing holy, but declares it to be sacred, that is, devoted to God or to divine service as the  consecration  of the priests among the Israelites the  consecration  of the vessels used in the temple Consecration   -  Easton's Bible Dictionary The devoting or setting apart of anything to the worship or service of God. The race of Abraham and the tribe of Levi were thus consecrated  The 1 st page of chapter 6 reads; "a dear friend tried again and again to give himself fully to the Lord, but without success. This chapter will be one where we can look at our life and understand why the world does not want any part of the cross. Simply stated, the world rejects God. This world is under the sway of satan and can not see their sin against God. They think they know God but walk contrary to God. Romans 1:18-24 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky.
