WORD 4 TODAY "Count It All Joy"

                                    James 1:1-8

It's a small thing to realize just how important it is to have the right attitude with the hope that God is working out something for your own good, when enduring trials.
1. Trial + Faith = “patience”

2. Patience + God’s perfect work = “you are lacking nothing”

3. Faith + Doubt = “double-minded and unstable
4. Endure = to stand; to rise up; to hold on; not giving up.
5. Joy = the pleasure of knowing where your help comes from
6. Perfect and complete = God's work in you. All that you know now is partial and incomplete and you see things imperfect and unclear. But then when God is done, you will see everything with perfect clarity (1 corinthians 13:12)
Faith and Endurance
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow! for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing (spiritually)
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone.
Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

  1. This Word comes right on time. It has been a season of unknowns and finding that it’s difficult not to keep my eye on doctors.
They are mere mortals, and my gracious Abba, gently spanked me and got my eyes to be on Him alone. My reward came after that, I was able to see my joy in Him and I am learning to be content in this season.

  2. We all have troubles n very difficult periods of our lives that we have to go through n scripture says to count it all joy, that is hard to do for everyone, but if we keep our mindset on Jesus through those times, then we know we will get through them n better days we will see! Thank You Lord.
