Word 4 Today - “Family”

A family is what God has put together.

His purpose was to bless you who are parents as well as those who are children!

He has created all things for our use, enjoyment and wonder, and the family becomes part of that wonder.

How we get along with others begins here.

As we grow up together as a family, we will experience love, arguments, learning things like sharing and the importance of thinking of others before ourselves.

Sometimes, we can learn bad behavior as well, as we ALL fall short of being good! 

Life will take a family on a journey together where much will be learned, taught and exposed.

How does one leave the family to begin their own?

Well, first that is what God intends for us., when He said “go out and multiply.”

God then instructs, that we are to teach our children and their children His ways. Doing so, helps the family to do right, be honest and care for others.

This is God’s plan for the family.

Too many times, we let the devil come into our family!

Beware! This clown only wants to bring: pain, division, anger, addiction, separation, death and more.

Everything that God has made and created is good, but the devil wants to steal, kill and destroy all that God has done!

Look around and see how much has been taken away that God has given to you? 

The family must continue to be the unique and steadfast unit that God created her for!  

Look and see.

We are letting others teach our children their ways.

We have given up on our family for the sake of comfort and ease, money, houses and foolishness.

We have sold our children to the devil.

Genesis 18:17-19

“The Lord said to himself, “I should tell Abraham what I am going to do, since his family will become a great and powerful nation that will be a blessing to all the other nations on earth.

I have chosen him to teach his family to obey me forever and to do what is right and fair. 

If they do, I will give Abraham many descendants, just as I promised.”
