“What Is Good”
Good morning 🌷
Roman’s 5:3-4
“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.”
We each have more strength and capacity to endure than we think! But nobody wants to find out this capacity because it involves being stretched beyond our comfort!
In some situations, we reach a place when we have done all we think we can do. But spiritually God sees our limits. It’s between these two places where we put our trust in God and we GROW.
We can rejoice in our trials because even if we believe we’ve reached our limit we can still reach towards God where He is developing endurance in us. Endurance will develop strength of character. And character will produce hope.🕊️
TRIALS are really for our benefit.
But our flesh does not want to be tested, stretched, tried or in pain.
But think of how much our spiritual man loves to be growing in the ways and things of God, changed from glory to glory, transformed from the old to the new.
This process involves suffering, trusting, growing and testing.
It’s not wise to say “Lord, I love you but don’t test my faith. I don’t want any pain, change or inconvenience.
But rather, have a better perspective and say,
Lord, “Let thy will be done.
I will pick up my cross and follow you.”
1 Peter 3:14
“But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed.
“And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
