2025 New Year’s Prayer

Every year as I come to the end of another year, I like to sit and listen to His small still voice.

In these times, I can see the whirlwind and the storm as I pray for the new year.

December is the time of reflection. I write up new prayer cards for the new year and wait on the Lord with expectation. I want to know and see how wonderfully He will answer.

Not all my prayers will be answered, so I will write them again for the next new year.

But for those intimate prayers that God does answer, I am once again reminded of His Faithfulness!

These are my thoughts and prayers for our new year in 2025.

Fruitful is the 2025 word as we teach from the Word in 2025.


Flourish is the 2025 word as we wait and watch hope flourish in this new year.


May “hope” flourish in the hearts of God’s people, our children, our communities, our government, schools, our families and our leaders in 2025, Amen

Darkness is the 2025 word as God’s people must come together and pray for our USA government.


The sin of Pride and Idolatry has destroyed America from within and has removed;


Truth from our land, 

Justice from our court system, 

Righteousness from our schools and children, 

Patriotism from the American people and 

Honor from our homes and families.


God please help America return to her 1st love and moral standards that You have given to her; In Jesus’ Name, America prays, Amen!

     Proverbs 21:22 “Whoever pursues righteous and unfailing love will find life, righteousness and honor” Father, Elohim,  “Thank you” 4 putting your wonderful creation together for all to enjoy and be rich by it all. Today in LA it has been raining, which is one thing we do not get much of .. but I “thank you” for it. It’s a time of slowing down.  It’s a time to sit and be still in the comfort of a warm home with family. I “thank you” Lord for the newness that comes with rain. It washes our soul and our mind.  We can take time to be still and reflect on where I AM .. where am I going .. and how to get there. The rain brings us to a stop and a moment to care about family, to look at ourselves and a chance for change, if needed. The rain heals the soul and lights it up with hope and freshness.  It’s a bath from head to toe that relaxes my spirit with the feeling of cleansing within me.
