Word 4 Today - How is Your Faith?

              Hebrews 11:22

It was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, said confidently that the people of Israel would leave Egypt. He even commanded them to take his bones when they left.

We often hear the phrase “Man of Faith” in many a message, Joseph was just that kind of man. He lived through many failures and successes and saw the hand of God move mightily.

He believed so deeply the Israelites would  one day return to the promised land, God had given them, and Joseph  commanded the Israelites to bring his bones back with them.

Joseph’s bones were buried in Shechem and his burial symbolizes faith and faithfulness.

How about you and I?  Is your faith so strong, we can say without a shadow of doubt that God will deliver on His promises?

Great question Maggie.

Unfortunately my faith is neither strong nor weak.

I believe, but Lord help my unbelief.

There are days when I am strong and can say to the mountain to move.

Then I also have days when I forget who I am in Christ and my faith is weak for that moment.

But the great news is, that those weak days are further apart! And my strong days are more!

It’s been a long process to keep my Faith growing and strong. I understand how trials and afflictions have caused me to draw closer to God, helped tune my ear to hear His voice and to help my faith grow stronger when I realize that I can do nothing without Him.

In times of afflictions, I am able to reflect and I can see God moving in my life and understand how His Spirit is and has been working on my behalf.

With these short reminders that are sent out daily, it helps me to stay focused on who I am and not so much, in who I used to be.

What a wonderful work the Holy Spirit is doing in us! All glory and praise to God!

Maggie

Hi good morning! 🌷💕

Yes, I appreciate my daily weakness in faith with many things. It helps me stay in constant fellowship with Jesus. Seeking Him and praying for His help.

So beautiful how He always shows Himself by reminding me not to lose faith and to trust Him.

I love when He just takes control and I move without thinking and just trusting Him. Lord thank you for Your love.

I will Trust 🕊️✝️

Have a beautiful day 🌷🕊️

  1. Blessings Lydia ♥️
I am grateful for you because I have learned how to be stronger in my faith because of you. You are a great teacher and I am blessed to have you in my life. I really look up to you and know you are filled with the Holy Spirit who lives in you.
I love you and look forward to another year of sisterhood.
    God bless you always 🕊️✝️♥️

As for me, I don’t want to be in any relationship with anyone. I am content. I don’t have to change who I am and be someone’s sucker. I can continue to be kind and caring to others.
I want a genuine brother or sister in Christ and that’s it.
I’m very honest with my brothers I serve with and my sisters. What I like is that they are too.

    From job
Continue to pray and stand fast.
Love the honesty and the boldness to be truthful.
You have found a good thing in sisters and brothers that are genuine!

I totally understand the feeling of content that you speak of. Yes, it’s really another blessing from God.

Like Paul shares with the people in Philippians 4:11,
that he has LEARNED to be content.
And now, we too have learned to be content in our situation and have trusted God to be our earthly husband for this season.
Glory to God for this nugget we have found in Him….
