Good Word 4 Today
Good morning
1. Asking questions in your private time with the Lord is always good.
The disciples were a little concerned and wanted to know more about Jesus's alluding to the destruction of the Temple walls.
As believers, Jesus teaches us to ask; He said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
2. Those closest to Jesus asked “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?”
Jesus, in His omniscience knew it was more important that they were equipped for that day rather than to know when it would happen.
Twice they asked Him when will these things happen? He doesn't address the when question but He prepares them for that day.
"answering them,(He)began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”
Pray for Gods wisdom and discernment so that no one deceives you.
Praying,
Pastor Tony
