"Father Of Lights" - James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, 

and comes down from the Father of lights, 

with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Thank you for the work that You have given us to do. All glory is yours, in heaven and on earth!

Many have come to see, but they are right in their own eyes, therefore they do not stay.

Some have been awakened from their slumber, but yet remain on the outside, not fully wanting to come it.

Others, Your Spirit has stirred up something within them and now they are seeking YOU.

Some see but are not interested. They have yet to understand their need of Light, that can show them the way to walk.

Others, their heart has grown cold (like mine) - and we are standing far off.  We are remembering the old days but no longer striving to run the race. We got sidelined and are not comfortable in this dry place. Please help us to get away from being complacent and to find the desire to fight one more time, for the place where we found You, Our First Love.

Help, us to begin to take small steps towards You, Your temple and Your ways. I surrender myself here in the wilderness and I am crying out for the Living Waters to fill my soul, once again.

Father, help this child of Yours, who desires to return home. I can see You Father, with Your arms open wide, ready to receive me!
