Imitate Christ

I want my life to be a reflection of God. I long to be conformed into His image by His Spirit. Not that I would receive glory for myself, but rather, that others may see the love God manifests through me, that they would glorify God.

My desire is to live the life Jesus describes in Matthew 5:16, that reads, “let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Let’s pray
Father I thank you that You have called me and chosen me as your child. I desire to be like You in my attitudes, my responses, my actions, in thoughts and deeds.

May Your Holy Spirit continue to mold me, and it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen

“ The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him” Excellent words of encouragement for us! We just celebrated our earthly fathers yesterday! We are blessed to have an example of what a Father role is & what obligations and long suffering it takes to be a hands on father;  We see the pressures and toll that fathers must endure, for the sake of their families. Such a blessing they have been! But as children of God we have the love, protection and care of our Heavenly Father!
