Live Life

Image
Do you want to keep living your life as others say you should, or w ill you live life as God desires you to? Whom will you trust? Don’t live to gather car, house or money,  But live to laugh and enjoy everything that life offers you, Taking the many good with the sometimes dark moments of life. Make life as simple and comfortable as possible, Don’t make life to where you owe for everything you gather, For then life will become burdensome, difficult and demanding. Is this what life should be? Life should be a time to learn and experience the many gifts Such as time, love, service and giving. For life was not made for you to walk alone in it, but rather, To share with them who cross your path and those you love. In this, life will be meaningful and full.     He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.    I know that nothing is

I believe that as a people living in a time of social media and the easy access to knowledge, that we should therefore use it to get educated on church history. It would be interesting to learn from and about our forefathers.  So with that being said, coming throughout the year I would like to share quotations from great pastors and some church history along with stories of martyrs who died believing in their faith. As Christians we should know some church history and heritage so that we will be ready to give an account of our faith.  2 Timothy 2:15 New Living Translation  Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. New King James Version Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. I pray that you enjoy this quote of the week by A. W. Tozer “This gener

What is Failure

Image
What is failure? Trying to do something then realize that you can not do it. I would like to share with you this experience in my reality check. The short story is that I went out and tried to do a job which was too demanding for me. At the ripe age of 62 years old, I learned a valuable lesson. I was challenged with the fact that I had to realize and admit to myself, that the work I was hired to do was at a pace which I just couldn't keep up with. Oh, how that hurts my pride! I am praising God today because I was able to be real with myself. I was able to admit that I no longer have the ability to multi-task or remember various little things, like I once did. I had been struggling for a month and half to keep up with my required task at work, and I just kept making mistakes, forgetting instructions and not finishing in a timely manner. I have been frustrated and restless about having to face this truth about myself. Father, forgive me for trying to blame others, when the tr

Do you want a challenge?

Dear Friends, As for me and my house, I want to continue to pray and fast in 2017. I have been a witness to the mighty work that God has done in me by committing to prayer and fasting in 2016 and the blessings were abundant! I saw answered prayers, I had a deeper understanding of prayer and how much it pleases God. I saw His goodness towards me in a different way than what I have experienced before. Our commitments towards the things of God are our vows and God so honors it.  God will continue to reveal Himself to us, but we must continue to seek Him. I want to extend the invitation to you to join me in prayer and in fasting in 2017. I want you to experience new and mighty things that God will do in your home and your life. If you decide to commit to prayer and fasting, I ask that you sit and be still as you pray your commitment unto to the Lord. God knows the plans that He has for you! Then together we can begin our journey for a deeper and closer relationship with the Lover
