Word 4 Today - Grace

We thru “Grace” are now accountable, required and enabled to fight vs our sinful nature.

There such not be any excuse to continue walking defeated or discouraged, when Jesus has done it all for us at the Cross.

Romans 8:2, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:17

a) FLESH - the old nature. Romans 7:18 explains that there is NO good thing in our flesh.

The best and positive thing to do, is to recognize your flesh and keep it from causing war within your spirit. Avoid the flesh at all cost! 
Romans 7:15-20

b) REDEEMED - to be purchased. 

In the Christian walk this would be when Jesus has come into your life, and now, you have been redeemed by His blood at the Cross for your sins.

c) a Will - the ability to make decisions and choices. 

This capacity you have. But when not walking with Jesus, you are the one leading and making the choices and decisions in your life. 

Without the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God living in your heart), these choices will bring you harm, more so than good for yourself.
Romans 8:4, Galatians 5:13

Is your Will choosing to walk in the flesh or by the Spirit?

WORD 4 TODAY - Colossians 3:13

   “bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do” This reminder is short and to the point. But how many will choose to ignore these wise words? 1. Bearing is to carry.. we all have those who may be weaker than us. Let’s not shun them or cast them to the wayside. But rather, learn how to pray 4 them. 2. Try to give them godly instruction, a good word of hope & encouragement in the season they are in. Then it will be up to them as to what they do.  Forgiving One another  This command will hit you right where it will hurt the most!   1. Pride - we don’t want to forgive!  The flesh wants to hold this over that person who has hurt you. And you want to protect yourself from getting hurt again.  Your excuse will be that “she/he needs to prove to “me” that they are really sorry”.  Again it’s your flesh making excuses for your wrong attitu...
