I have talked about this before on this blog. In which I shared about a time in my life when I carried a secret sin for a very long time. At first, I didn’t want to put it away. Then when I finally was sick and tired of it and wanted to get away from it, I quickly found out the hard way, just how strong the hold of this sin was in my life.  I honestly could not break away from it. Not for a lack of not wanting to, but because the force and the hold it had on me was stronger than me. The many times that I did walk away from it, I only came back to it again and again. This madness, guilt and shame became a heavy burden and too much to carry. I was in bondage and did not realize that I was now a slave and the sin was my master.
