WORD 4 TODAY - Galatians 1:11

Image
“But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.  For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ” Paul is explaining his change of heart & new life is because of his meeting with Christ (himself). You have heard how Paul was so on fire for his religion, that he was actually destroying God’s work through the apostles.  Then Paul meets Jesus! Face to face with Jesus was too much for Paul, that he fell down from his horse. That is how we all have come to know Jesus. We had a face to face encounter, that was so glorious, that it knocked us off our high horse (pride) and down to our knees.  Hallelujah and Thank You Jesus!

WORD 4 TODAY, Proverbs 27:17

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend” Today let’s give thanks 4 those who love us enough to be straight up with us.  We may not agree or like it, but if it’s a truth that helps us to see that a change needs to take place; then we are without excuse and should consider what we heard. When left alone in our own wrong ways & bad thoughts, we can not smell the stench within. Others can quickly sense that you’re off base but not willing to be honest with you! Today, the Holy Spirit was that friend to me! He showed me that I need to let go of certain sins (in my mind) and allow the Holy Spirit to do a new work in my heart.  Today I’m praying for a heart transplant so I can walk in the freedom that I have in Christ. “Iron does indeed sharpen iron”, if you need a change.  amen

Yup, it’s strange but good. I should write on how we all can see God during the death of one of His own. Been thankful for my Dad coming back to the Lord before His death. I went twice to see him before he got sick (once with Di & once with Josh). Both times I felt like I was on a missionary trip to remind him of God. I don’t remember anything great that I said to him or did, but I remember praying a lot for him on those trips. Then My husband passing was all God. And yet in all of that you could sense God’s presence.  I never once doubted that it was God’s perfect will & that he too is in heaven. With Tio Leonides, I remember having him repeat the sinner’s prayer to receive Jesus. So that’s comforting to my heart. And I also asked Mom to repeat the sinner’s prayer, so I am finally realizing that my heart sings, because I know where my family will be spending eternity. Wow, that’s pretty cool and it gives me peace within my soul. We serve an Awesome God….. Psalm 39:5 Indeed,

WORD 4 TODAY 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! So all of us who have had that veil removed, can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord, who is the Spirit, makes us more and more like HIM as we are changed into his glorious image” Wow that makes my day... amen!

“Rest In The Lord”

Image
WORD 4 TODAY  “Rest in the Lord” means that you can leave things in God’s hands, period.  Don’t try to take it back! Forget about it those things that weigh you down for a moment and learn to rest in God (take relief). You will then learn a bit about the “Peace of God”.   Try it.  Matt 12:27 from the Message translation  “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest.  Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.  I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.  Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”  You can also integrate the link into text, for example you can write at the end of blog posts «Enjoyed this post? WORD 4 TODAY

Judges 13:17-20 “Then Manoah asked the angel of the Lord, “What is your name? For when all this comes true, we want to honor you.” “Why do you ask my name?” the angel of the Lord replied. “It is too wonderful for you to understand.” Wow,  Upon hearing that he would have a son, Manoah asked the Angel to stay and break bread. He continues to ask the “angel of the Lord”, What is your Name? Excellent question! But the revelation of God and His Name would be too much 4 anyone to truly understand!  Job leon
