Welcome to 2016 I would like to extend an invitation to you to join us on this new journey in 2016. I truly believe with all my heart that 2016 will be a radical and challenging year. Not only in America  with its year of electing a new president,  but also worldwide! We are seeing more and more chaos and evil present within our American borders and we are hearing more about oppression and persecution of Christians worldwide. We cannot be so foolish as to think that these things will not happen in our cities, communities or state. Think and consider just how fast our morals, laws and values have declined within the last 10 years! And what about the increase of prejudices, wars, terrorism, church scandals and shootings all within our borders. As Christians we are told to watch and pray for we will see more wars and hear rumors of war, but not to be troubled – Matthew 24:6 . I pray that we will hear the trumpet sound calling the Christian to fasting and prayer i...

REMEMBER ME Why are the heavens so silent? Why do I not feel your Presence nearby? I remembered our conversations and our laughs, as we walked together in the cool of the day. I remembered the joy of being in Your Presence. The awe of being with the “ lover of my soul ”. We would talk for what seems like hours, And my fears were quieted with Your love. I did not worry about tomorrow because   As long as I was with you, I was strengthen, loved and protected. Oh, how I miss You! Where did you go? What happened? Did I not follow closely? I long for Your song in my heart and Your Presence. I look for You from house to house, but I do not find You. So I returned to our “ secret place.” And there with songs of tongues, I poured out to You, all of me as I released my heart to You. Oh, how beautiful our fellowship is. Remember as a child when you spent a lot of time and energy on daydreaming about some of the things you wanted to do when you grew up? Perhaps you thought about what type of work you wanted to do... or what kind of car you were going to get.....what you were going to do after high school....or how many children you wanted to have? What a wonderful time we had as children daydreaming and talking to our best friends about our dreams. Remember those good ole days? Now as I am reaching those "golden years", I think about those dreams.  Actually, some have been fulfilled....Like running a marathon......writing......marriage & children......career (becoming a secretary it was cool back then. But I still have other dreams that I would like to run after -Yes, even in these golden years! How about going cross country in my VW?  Or going to Wyoming to see if the "Marlboro Man" is still alive....What are some of your dreams that you would like to chase? Let's ...
