SELF

Hey mama, there she goes again, using that dirty word, “Self”.  Yes, “self” is one of those words that makes us cringe. We surely do not like having any discussion about it. I am learning to pray and ask the Lord to teach me how to nail this to the Cross. I so desire to be set free again. I struggle with outburst of road rage. Out of nowhere, I am screaming at drivers that are acting careless and have a few chosen words for them. I am surprised at myself that I still know such words, only to realize that I must continue to die to this flesh.  I s

Marriage is between a male and a female “And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.’ Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh.     Genesis 3:18, 24 Now as they become One they will put each other first.... it will no longer be mom who is #1 nor is it dad. Self will no longer be # 1 ...  it will need to be your beloved who is now #1. Young Woman  (You) Oh, I wish you were my brother, who nursed at my mother’s breasts. Then I could kiss you no matter who was watching,   and no one would criticize me. I would bring you to my childhood home, and there you would teach me. I would give you spiced wine to drink, my sweet pomegranate wi

His Love and admiration for His Beloved How beautiful are your sandaled feet, O queenly maiden. Your rounded thighs are like jewels, the work of a skilled craftsman. Your navel is perfectly formed like a goblet filled with mixed wine. Your   belly is like a heap of wheat bordered with lilies. Your breasts are like two fawns, twin fawns of a gazelle. Your neck is as beautiful as an ivory tower. Let us notice the delicate praise that the Beloved bestows upon His bride. Words so refreshin

What is hindering and interfering? How can you make your relationship deep and stronger? And "When" do you want to start? Young Women of Jerusalem   Where has your lover gone, O woman of rare beauty? Which way did he turn   so we can help you find him? Others can see Jesus in your life when you are deeply in love with Him. And in due season they will turn to you for help, prayer or questions, all in God’s perfect time. Young Woman  (You) My lover has gone down to his garden, to His spice beds, to browse in the gardens   and gather the lilies. I am my lover’s, and my lover is mine. He
