I have been keeping this tradition of filling out my prayer cards every December.  I'm blown away by God's faithfulness to my answered prayers! One of my 1st impossible prayer request was for Alice, my sister, to come back to the Lord, after many years of backsliding.  This year I witnessed my sister's return to the Lord & how tenderly He drew her back to Himself.  She died in His arms, after He first took her through her journey of forgiveness, restoration & reconciliation with her children & family. I am a blessed woman to have such an awesome & faithful God. Psalm 66:16-19 “Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me. For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke. If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer”

How beautiful to witness the mighty hand of God still working behind the scenes! The world will not tell you about the wonderful work that God is doing in these difficult, confusing & dark days.  I believe with all my heart that God is calling his people to prayer as He is shaking the world & bringing many to “repentance & salvation”. It is time for those who are seeking truth & hope, to hear what the Spirit is saying, and WE, the church, must stand in the gap together in prayer & worship for those who the Father is calling.  The Holy Spirit is moving in hearts & all throughout the lands, stirring up people 4 revival.  Let the church wake up from her slumber & rise up in one accord to pray for the lost.  Father, does not want any to perish, but to have everlasting life, therefore WE must be about our Father’s business: (1) telling people about God’s love & hope;  (2) praying for the Holy Spirit to bring the Word of God to all peop...

Aww, thank you so much for your prayers! I am amazed as I look back on the last 8 months that I spent with Alice. She was hospitalized in March with pneumonia & after weeks of tests, she learned that she had kidney failure, blood infection & liver failure.  Years of addiction had caught up & now she had to be still. God is amazing and knew how to draw her back.  By July she began to understand & accept that her days were short. She wanted a Bible & was praying. God gave her another gift…. reconciliation with her daughters & family.  By September, it was obvious that she wasn’t getting better. She loves Halloween (that’s her favorite holiday)…. She knew that while in the nursing home she was only surviving & made the decision to go home to celebrate Halloween.  Her daughter & I had a great time with her! I haven’t been trick or treating in a long time! She struggled with lots of pain, getting around in a wheelchair & the small thing...

Monday, 11/22/2021 It’s with a heavy heart that I must let you know that Alice just passed away this morning at 1:02am. After a long battle she has found rest & peace!  Those are the things that she longed for. We love you Alice! Yup I went to Huntington Memorial and had 5 mins with her as her heart was slowing down.  She passed peacefully & was not alone (the one fear she had). She was admitted at 11pm because of the internal bleeding from the cancer. Her heart stopped & they performed CPR to bring her back. They called & asked what to do the next time her heart stopped. Of course, it was her directive to DNR. I went to be with her as they advised that her body was in shock & her heart would stop again. I was able to get there on time. I told her that it was okay to let go.  That it was time for her to go home.  In her coma state, I’m sure she could hear, so I kissed her, cried, and watched her quietly pass.  No fuss, no pain.. she peacefull...

Do you ever question, Does God really speak? Let's look into God's Word to find out what happened to the remnant left behind by the King of Babylon when God used  Nebuchadnezzar  to punish His stiff-necked, rebellious people who would not listen. Time after time God's people refused to hear the truth. Their ears have become deaf to God's Word, their hearts had become hard and their trust in God had been lost.  The Truth often can be hard to swallow. We have our own pretense formed in our minds and we believe in our own understanding. We forget that God's ways and thoughts are far higher than what we can imagine. God's best is always at the heart of what He wants for us, hence we need to learn how to listen to Him.  If you have not yet learned that it's easier to let God rule in your life, then allow me to share this nugget. ALWAYS WILLING TO GIVE YOU HIS BEST AND AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE. GOD GIVES GENEROUSLY IN ALL THAT HE IS: GOD IS KIND - HE GENEROUSLY GIVES THIS KINDESS THAT IS TOO NUMBEROUS TO COUNT.
